About the event

Hear from Dr Andrew Tait, the Chief Scientist - Climate, Atmosphere and Hazards for NIWA as he answers the big question - How will the climate change in Tairāwhiti? Tairāwhiti is gradually becoming hotter, drier, more wildfire-prone and more flood-prone and this will continue for at least the next 50 years (probably much longer), so what may the future hold?

Dr Tait specializes in applications of climate data and products, and climate change impacts and adaptation research.
