The top Tairāwhiti solo/duo acts selected are Junior Pelea from Tolaga Bay Area School (first), and R & D from Lytton High School (second).
The Smokefree Tangata Beats winners for Tairāwhiti are Tūranga Tane Rebels from Gisborne Boys' High School (first), and Ngā Rau Mahara from Gisborne Girls' High School (second)

The top 12 bands selected will perform at the regional final at War Memorial Theatre on Saturday June 24rd from 7pm. Tickets are $10 for school students or $20 for adults through Eventfinda (plus booking fee), or at the door on the night.
