About the event
Three-day Aquaculture Wānanga is coming to the rohe this March, inviting participants to slow down, learn together, and reconnect with wai and whenua.
Held at Kutarere Marae, this wānanga centres on wai ora, indigenous aquaculture, and kaitiakitanga. Across the weekend, participants will share practical skills, open kōrero, and collective learning grounded in mātauranga Māori and lived experience, building confidence in caring for our waterways and taiao.
This kaupapa is about connection: to place, to knowledge, and to each other.
