About the event
Cactivate and Noise Vacancy present the Junkman's Choir, who will be playing an intimate concert for the diverse residents of the Cactus House at Gisborne Botanical Gardens on Friday 2 October, 4:30-5:30 pm.
You are invited to bear witness to this special event. Please come with only the highest regard for our Cactaceae friends.
The Junkman's Choir features accomplished local musicians Oliver Vetter on the fiddle and Ryan Raggett on Bass.
This inversion of the usual garden-as-backdrop model reframes the cacti as the intended recipients of attention, artistry, and care, rather than passive scenery for human enjoyment.
Friday, October 2, 4:30—5:30 pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to be seated.
