Chuck Chuck Baby is a bittersweet love story set to a toe-tapping soundtrack and the backdrop of a North Wales chicken factory.
Directed by Janis Pugh, this BAFTA Cymru-winning feature follows Helen (Louise Brealey, Sherlock), who spends her nights packing poultry and her days caring for the woman who raised her. When her teenage crush Joanne (Annabel Scholey, Split) reappears, sparks fly and old feelings flicker back to life.
Their reunion stirs joy, laughter, and music, but also deep pain, unspoken trauma, and a question: will they let love win, or run from it once again? A heartfelt and quietly fierce film about friendship, memory, and finding yourself again, Chuck Chuck Baby has been praised as a “joyous singalong celebration of female friendship”
