About the event
As part of Samoan Language Week, Tairāwhiti Civil Defence is holding a civil defence readiness workshop for our Samoan families here in Te Tairāwhiti/Gisborne. They are very excited to see you all tomorrow night. Come along and be informed and prepared in case of any future natural disasters that may occur in our region.
The 1-hour workshop includes:
- A wide range of information regarding direct services and referral services
- What to do in the case of another natural disaster
- Who to contact and how to do it
- Preparing the whanau in the case of an emergency evacuation
