About the event
The reclusive author of a much-beloved book employs a student to help him get his house in order. As the boxes get sorted, surprising truths are revealed, a connection is formed, and a life-long friendship is rekindled between the author and the all-too-real subject of his famous novel. This is a charming tale about friendship, letting light into the darkest of places, and how a good tale can bring us all together.

The play opens on Friday 30 Aug for the World Premiere. The playwright will be there on opening night to give a talk beforehand. Arrive early and enjoy a glass of bubbles to celebrate the premiere. Make sure to catch one of Unity Theatre's 8 performances through to Saturday 7 September, including a Sunday, 1 Sept matinee show.
Doors open at 7 pm for evening performances.
