GDC and Te Aitanga-a-Māhaki invite whānau and community to a hui at Māhaki Tiaki Tangata this Sunday afternoon to learn about two preferred options for strengthening flood protection in Te Karaka. Developed in partnership with iwi and local representatives, the proposals are now ready for community feedback. Come along to see what’s planned, ask your questions, and help shape a safer, stronger future for the rohe.
