The East Coast Museum of Technology is opening its doors, inviting locals and visitors alike to wander through one of Tairāwhiti’s true hidden gems.
Set among heritage buildings and filled with vintage machinery, hands-on displays, and stories from the region’s hardworking past, it’s a place where curiosity is rewarded, and history comes to life. An easy, enriching outing for families, history buffs, and anyone keen to explore something a little different.
