Are you into Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll? What about Violence, Fast Cars and Cheap Thrills? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions then this is the film for you! A standard story of four young women who head to Hollywood to pursue a career in Rock and Roll, only to discover that all that glitters is not gold. The only big studio release from the master of B-movie sexploitation Russ Meyer, with a brilliantly satirical screenplay by film critic Roger Ebert (a.k.a the fat guy on the 80's TV show: “Siskel and Ebert’s At The Movies” if you can believe that). This film is as fun and wild, groovy, sexy and SMART as any film ever made and is really the quintessential “FAR OUT! Film Night" film. Featuring way out groovy 60’s music as well as an appearance from 60’s psych-band The Strawberry Alarm Clock. Leave the kids at home for this one. It’s on Halloween so feel free to dress up.
