About the event
From graceful pointe work to electrifying hip hop, the Gisborne Ballet Group Activity Weekend is back and bursting at the seams with local dance talent!
Over three days Friday 8 to Sunday 10 August the region’s young dancers will take the stage at the War Memorial Theatre, sharing their artistry across a wide range of genres: tap, classical, contemporary, barefoot, pointe, lyrical, musical theatre, demi character, jazz and hip hop. Whether you’re a longtime dance lover or simply curious to see what our local creatives have been working on, this is a chance to soak up the magic and support our performers.
