Gisborne Canoe & Tramping Club walk

Oliver Road is 6kms south of Matawai, on the east side of SH2 (opposite Rakauroa Road). The walk has steep hill climbs and river crossings so poles could be useful (and you might get wet feet!). About 10-12kms, and will take 4-5 hours, plus lunch stops etc. Carpooling with $20 towards vehicle expenses.
