About the event

The Lived Experience Storytelling Wānanga is a unique opportunity for people who have experienced mental health challenges/mental distress to come together and engage with the power of collective storytelling.

Our stories and experiences hold mana and can challenge negative beliefs about mental distress. When we can come together to craft our stories, we can create positive change and understanding towards our lived experience community. This event aims to empower and equip attendees to become advocates for challenging mental health discrimination in Aotearoa.

Spaces are limited. Reserve your spot and learn more about the wānanga schedule here.
