Gisborne Tramping Club Walk | Mangakawa Track, Mōrere

The Mangakawa Track at Morere takes 2.5 - 3hrs to walk. There are 5 stream crossings so this would need to be postponed if there had been a lot of recent rain. There are lots of steps both up & down. Lovely bush & birdsong.

It costs $3 to walk the tracks (charged because of the secure parking facility and toilets provided, and to assist with pest trap maintenance costs) and $14 for a soak in a hot pool.

We will car pool, so there would be some flexibility in whether people stay for a soak or not.

Carpooling cost $15.
