About the event
Join in for the 5th annual Gizzy Laser Half Marathon featuring a flat, groomed track and starts/finishes at a scenic winery!
This is the fifth year of our Gizzy Laser Half Marathon event, sponsored by local business Laser Electrical and Plumbing. Join us for one of 3 distances (5k, 10k or 21k). We start and finish at the lovely Matawhero Winery and run the stop bank track along the scenic Waipaoa River. Walkers* and runners welcome.
This course is flat and fast, so if you're interested in trying for a PB, this is your race!
Again this year... all finishers get a medal!
