About the event
Now in its fourth year, the Gizzy Laser Half Marathon is back proudly sponsored by local legends Laser Electrical and Plumbing, and hosted by the Gisborne Harriers Club.
Starting and finishing at the beautiful Matawhero Winery, the course follows the scenic stop bank track along the Waipaoa River. With 5km, 10km, and 21km distance options, this is an event for runners and walkers of all levels.
The course is flat and fast, perfect for those chasing a PB or simply enjoying a relaxed run or walk through stunning surroundings.

Walkers welcome, please note this is not a competitive walking race, and placings will not be issued for walkers.
