For artists, arts workers and arts consumers in Te Tairāwhiti

What is the state of the arts here in Te Tairāwhiti? Who are our creatives? Who’s in the audience? What challenges are we facing, and how can we work together to boost our local creative economy and maximise the good stuff that comes from creating and consuming art?

Gizzy Local invites the arts community (makers and consumers) to join us in one of three conversations over a three-day period. Whether you consider yourself a creative, artist, musician, craftsperson, or prefer to identify as a lover of the arts, we’d love for you to attend.

Facilitated by independent Producer Jordan Walker, with guest facilitators honing in on creative practices, let’s unpack these solutions together, through kōrero and connection.
