Tahu, 40 Centennial Marine Drive, Awapuni, Gisborne 4010, New Zealand
About the event
Our next Green Drinks session is on Friday 30th October, and it may be our most controversial sustainability topic yet: Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Date: Friday 30th October 3 pm - 4:30 pm
Where: Tahu
Green Drinks is a chance to explore sustainability topics through information sharing and networking in a relaxed setting. AI has a complicated relationship with sustainability, and we won't have time to cover all of that in one session.
Our two speakers will share their insights into how AI interacts with their work and the environment through systems and robotics.
Kris Karauria, The Colin James Method (CJM) will explore the use of AI to widen access to ideas, build capability and help regions scale what works - while taking seriously its environmental footprint and social impacts.
