Hau Kāinga – “the true home, the heart of one’s identity and belonging.”
This powerful exhibition features the work of weavers Fiona Collis, Michelle Kerr, and Claudette Collis, whose fibre art honours the artistry of Te Aitanga a Hauiti. Rooted in whakapapa and whenua, their work reflects the strength and beauty of tradition while expressing the evolving nature of mātauranga Māori in today’s world.
