About the event
A review of the Tairāwhiti Resource Management Plan is underway and the Gisborne District Council need your help to update it. Council are holding 3 events across 3 days at 3 different locations. Attend the one that is most convenient for you.
The plan no longer meets community needs, our obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi or required legislative outcomes.
We need a plan that enables us to live better. As the combined plan is so big we're updating it as a series of plan changes.
These include:
The Regional Policy Statement Urban Plan changes, including re-zoning areas for future homes and Masterplans for Elgin, Kaiti and the City Centre.
Events are held at Gisborne Library on Tuesday 11th, Gisborne Park Golf Club on Wednesday 12th, and Ilminster School on Thursday 14th. Drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7:30pm to speak to the technical experts.
