Hihiroroa Road

Join the Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club for this FREE walk. This walk starts from the formed end of Hihiroroa Road (South), Eastwoodhill side, to Otoko end, and return. It's about 10km across grass and gravel / dirt, which used to be used as a road. It is still a road easement but is now only used as a farm track. This walk traverses mostly an even gradient of gentle climbing over a low saddle from the Wharekopae River into the Hihiroroa Stream catchment.
