Hitmans 25th Anniversary Celebender

A little over a quarter of a century ago, what began as a hunt for a weekend job sparked by a call to a local wedding DJ found in the Yellow Pages quietly turned into decades of dancefloors, late nights and packed rooms across Tairāwhiti.

Now, the shindig is being thrown not just to mark the journey, but to draw back together the people who filled those floors — from the Irish, Kingfisher, Soho, Shippy, Sugz and Smash, to festivals, school balls, weddings and countless parties in between. If you’ve ever danced, laughed, or lost a night to the music, this one’s for you.

There’ll be a $10 cover charge from 9pm to help support the other DJs on the night arrive earlier to dodge it, or throw in a koha to show some love for their time.
