Huringa Pai Moumoukai Maunga Hikoi

Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and embark on a picturesque walk along a gentle and sidling climbing track, passing by a lime quarry and ascending 250m to the summit of Moumoukai (612m) on Moumoukai Station. A moderate fitness level is required, and everyone will stay united as a supportive group throughout the hikoi. The hike is estimated to take approximately 4 1/2 - 5 hours, depending on the pace of walkers. There will be a convenient toilet and food stop in Nuhaka on the way there and back. Bask in the breathtaking views and reconnect with nature as you return to Midway Beach in the mid-late afternoon.
