A remembrance day for Agnes Scott, a nurse and tireless worker for the betterment of women and children in Tairawhiti from 1886 to 1931. Agnes and her husband, Francis Scott, lie in an unmarked grave. The time is long overdue to acknowledge this compassionate woman.
