A bookshop in Paris. A manor in the English countryside. A romance worthy of Jane Austen herself. Utterly charming and irresistibly bookish.

About the event
Agathe is a delightful new romantic comedy from director Laura Piani, following a young Parisian writer who seems to be living the dream, working at the famous Shakespeare & Co. bookshop and sharing undeniable chemistry with her best friend and co-worker Félix. But behind the scenes, Agathe is stuck living with her sister and battling writer’s block. When she’s invited to a Jane Austen residency in the English countryside, she finds herself in a real-life Austen setting, complete with a handsome descendant of the author and a love triangle fit for a novel.
Warm, witty and full of literary charm, Agathe is a fresh take on classic romance.
