About the event
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), celebrated with a special mid-week edition of Kawhe & Kōrero☕. This relaxed gathering offers a chance to connect, play games, and practice Te Reo Māori over a kawhe.
Attendees are encouraged to take a break from mahi and spend their lunch hour enjoying kōrero, laughter, and connection while building confidence in speaking Te Reo Māori.
All levels are welcome from beginners to fluent speakers in this safe, supportive, and fun space. Friends, colleagues, and whānau are all invited to join.
Refreshments will be provided.
