Kopuawhara monument | Wharerata hills

Join the Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club for a visit to the monument from the Wharerata hills and Paritu Road - from the northern side. If Railway Road

is suitable for cars, the group will drive to the railway line and then walk to the Kopuawhara Monument - 2km south along the old Wharerata Walkway.

Fitness level = Moderate
