A gentle but important invitation is going out to the community this March.
Macular Degeneration Awareness and Education Seminar brings timely information, reassurance, and expert insight to Gisborne, with a free morning session designed to support those living with or wanting to better understand macular degeneration. The session is especially relevant for anyone over 50, those diagnosed with macular degeneration, or whānau supporting someone with macular degeneration.
The seminar will feature ophthalmologist Dr Samuel Newlands, sharing the latest research, treatments, and developments in macular degeneration care.
Early treatment can make a real difference — and knowledge is a powerful first step.
The seminar is presented by Macular Degeneration New Zealand and is completely free to attend.
