Makers' Workshop

It’s not long now until our first ever Ball at Gizzy Local, and we’re holding a couple of workshops for people keen to get crazy creative on the costume front!

With ‘It’s a Wild Life’ as the theme, there’s plenty of scope for imagination when it comes to those outfits and we've been rummaging around and collecting all sorts of fabulous materials to be repurposed into magnificent costumery.

Join local creatives Katy Wallace and Lina Marsh in a fun creative session to explore your wild side, making headpieces, epaulettes, brooches, eyewear or other bits and bobs. 

Jungle feels, forest dwellers, pop-culture, extraterrestrial forms...the possibilities are endless. Everything you need to sparkle, rustle, bubble, hover and purr will be provided & we'll help your creativity bloom into some wild wearable wickedness!
