About the event
Join the Gisborne Canoe and Tramping Club for a circuit walk from Makorori beach over the hills towards Goodwin Road, and back to Makorori beach. Enjoy lovely coastal views, patches of remnant pūriri forest, and attractive rural landscapes. The walk starts from the Makorori Station woolshed, the driveway off SH35, Whāngārā Road, with a painted wooden sign “MAKORORI”.
Difficulty level = Moderate
