About the event
Mantra Band is heading to Gisborne as part of its spring North Island tour, sharing the Kirtan Experience with the community.
Kirtan Experience is a guided, immersive live-music journey combining mantra, music, meditation and movement. Guided by lifelong kirtan artists and musicians, the experience blends meditation and celebration through the heartfelt singing of simple, powerful mantras.
No experience is needed. People can sing, dance, meditate or simply listen in a welcoming space to relax, reconnect and be inspired.
The event is offered freely to the community, with the hope of creating a space where people can reconnect with joy, peace and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
Comfortable seating and cushions are provided, and children and families are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably for sitting, movement and dancing.
