About the event
Wrights Vineyard & Winery invites guests to celebrate Matariki Weekend with a special evening of French food, fine wine and relaxed conversation.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of mulled wine before enjoying five carefully matched food and wine pairings throughout the evening. The wine selection features Wrights Vineyard & Winery's Champion Wrights Reserve Chardonnay 2024 alongside wines from Huia Vineyards, Alpha Domus and Gibbston Valley, offering the opportunity to explore a range of wines from some of New Zealand's renowned wine regions.
Each wine will be paired with its own French-inspired dish, creating five unique flavour experiences throughout the evening. The menu includes French cheeses, croque-monsieur, flammekueches, crêpes and other classic French favourites, all thoughtfully matched to complement the wines being served.
