About the event
Green Drinks is a monthly networking event for businesses, sustainability professionals, ecologists, NGOs, and others working to protect te Taiao. Each gathering features guest speakers from the sustainability space, along with time to connect and share ideas.
The May edition will focus on Predator Control, exploring its importance and practical ways to take action.
Guest Speakers Include:
Steve Sawyer (Ecoworks) – discussing the impact of pests in the region and showcasing effective trapping tools for both homes and businesses
Tairāwhiti Environment Centre – presenting their Trap Library and available support services
Amy England (Gisborne District Council) – introducing the Tu Taiao project.
