About the event
Nadja is a 1994 American vampire art movie written and directed by Michael Almereyda, starring Elina Löwensohn in the title role and Peter Fonda as Abraham Van Helsing.
Filmed in New York’s East Village neighborhood and shot in shimmering grainy black and white using different film types this sexy and surreal film is a treat for the eyes.
Not really a horror film (not scary really), more of a comedy, but not like you are used to... it would seem the characters didn’t get the memo. This film’s recent re-release has helped cement it as a proper cult classic.
