About the event
This Matariki weekend, Eastwoodhill and Jo of Connective Creations invite you out to the Arboretum for a paper and pigment-making workshop to tap out and connect with the land, to others, and to your innate creativity. You will explore the Arboretum and utilise foraged and collected materials to make your own handmade paper and natural pigments in a rich collaboration with nature. The last couple of hours will be spent contemplating and responding to your surroundings and experience using the beautifully organic materials you have made. Please bring a potluck picnic dish for a shared lunch to keep your creative cogs in peak condition.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Tea & Coffee will be available at the Eastwoodhill Cafe. You may also like to stay a night at Eastwoodhill and give yourself a Matariki nature retreat in the gorgeous Arboretum setting, a beautiful way to recharge.
