From high-octane ski runs and daring mountain bike rallies to wild rivers, remote hikes and soulful journeys of resilience, the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival brings the very best of adventure storytelling to Gisborne.
PURE NZ NIGHT (Wed 27 Aug, 6:30 pm) dives into fresh Aotearoa-made films, world premieres and award-winners that capture the spirit, humour and grit of homegrown adventure.
AWARD NIGHT (Thurs 28 Aug, 7 pm) celebrates the festival’s international heavy-hitters' stunning films from around the world that push the boundaries of courage, creativity, and human connection.
So grab a beanbag or sofa, settle in with a slice and a drink, and let these films sweep you from Rakiura’s rugged coastlines to the glaciers of Pakistan and beyond.
