You're invited to the opening of Toi Koru.
Immerse yourself in the Toi Koru exhibition by Dr Sandy Adsett, developed and toured by Pātaka Art and Museum. The Māori master of colour and kōwhaiwhai, Toi Koru is the first major survey exhibition of painting by Sandy Adsett. The exhibition tracks the trajectory of Adsett’s painting practice from the 1960s to today.
Toi Koru opens on the 10th of May at 5:30pm and will run until the 4th of August at Tairāwhiti Museum. Additionally, there will be a floor talk on Saturday, the 11th of May, at 2pm.
