PAWGUST 2026 is here, the waggiest, tail-thumpin' fundraiser of the year! Blind Low Vision NZ invites dog lovers, walkers, and everyday heroes to take on a free fitness challenge throughout August. Whether you’re walking with your furry best mate or flying solo, you’ll be helping raise essential funds for New Zealanders living with low vision or blindness.
Set your own distance goal (60km, 100km or 125km), get moving, and share your journey with friends and whānau to boost awareness and donations. You don’t need a dog to PAWticipate, just a good pair of shoes, a generous heart, and a touch of dogged determination.
Together, we can help make sure everyone who needs a Guide Dog has one.
