Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, Poor Things is the fantastical evolution story of a young woman (Emma Stone) in Victorian London, brought back to life via brain transplant by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe), and embarks on an odyssey of self-discovery. Based on the 1992 award-winning novel by Alasdair Gray, co-starring Emmy nominees Margaret Qualley (Maid) and Ramy Youssef (Ramy) alongside Christopher Abbott (Possessor) and Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo.
