Tired of accumulating piles of soft plastics and wasting forgotten pantry ingredients? Recycling is just the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff—let’s get back to basics.
Start by buying only if and when you need to, and refill your containers at the local Bin Inn on Grey Street. Make a batch of something delicious and store it well for future use.
Looking for inspiration? Come along to TEC’s Raw Baking Workshop with Kate Francis on Wednesday 16 April, 1–2pm.
Kate recently relocated to Tairāwhiti from Tāmaki Makaurau and brings a wealth of knowledge in sustainable living as a permaculture designer and gardener. This is her first workshop at the centre, and we’re excited to welcome her!
