About the event
The Gisborne Harriers' River Run Series starts up in early February. And just in time, with all the holiday and long-weekend merriment sending our once-regular walking/running routine out of whack. The River Run series will be there for you and the family for 8 weeks. The course starts at the grassy area outside Lawson Field Theatre. It follows the footpath and doesn't cross any major roads so it's great for walkers, whānau with pushchairs, kids with bikes, people with dogs on leads, etc. Of course, it's also good for runners who like a flat, fast course to work on speed and endurance. But the Harriers are all about runners and walkers of all speeds, so you won't be alone if a slow jog or walk is more your thing.
