About the event

The Tairāwhiti Environment Centre, in partnership with MyImprint, Tahu, and The Chamber of Commerce, invites the community to this month’s Green Drinks. In this free networking event, sustainability topics take centre stage.


This session features Sam Morgan, Technical Principal Coastal Adaptation at WSP, who will explore the impacts of climate change on Tairāwhiti beaches and coastlines. Sam will cover both positive and negative changes, including erosion, and discuss how these shifts affect local surf breaks, beachfronts, and coastal businesses.


Green Drinks is aimed at:

  • Businesses undertaking, or interested in, sustainability initiatives

  • Sustainability professionals seeking to network

  • Ecologists, NGOs, and others working for Te Taiao
