Post screening Q+A with Dr. Donna Morrison, lead actor Alex Tarrant and director Tearepa Kahi. Taonga from the whānau of Haane Manahi and the 28th Māori Battalion will also be present.
From visionary director Tearepa Kahi (Muru, Poi E), SGT. HAANE tells the story of Haane Manahi who served during WWII as part of the famed 28th Māori Battalion, famous for his extraordinary bravery against the Nazi’s during The Battle of Takrouna
