Spud in a Bucket is back for 2025 with mystery prizes, loads of giveaways from Bunnings, and a weigh-in day full of fun, all in support of Alzheimer's Gisborne Tairāwhiti.

About the event
It’s time to plant, water and cheer on your potatoes Spud in a Bucket 2025 is here! This annual community favourite is raising funds to support those affected by dementia in Tairāwhiti.
Entries open Friday 22 August, with sign-ups happening at Bunnings on 22 & 23 August, 30 August and 6 September (9.30am–12.30pm), plus during the Bunnings Father’s Day Family Night, 4 September, 5–7pm.
You can also register via the Alzheimers Gisborne office at Gisborne Hospital (Gate 2).

12 years and under: $10
Over 12 years: $15
