About the event

Supporting Young People with Sexual Wellbeing: A free, in-person training for professionals working with rangatahi in Tairāwhiti.

Hosted by Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa, this full-day workshop is designed to give you the tools, knowledge and confidence to support young people as they navigate their sexual and reproductive health.

Whether you’ve been caught off-guard by a curly question about sex, or you’re concerned about the messages young people are picking up from social media and porn, this training will help you hold informed, values-aligned conversations that actually land.

Expect practical tools you can weave into everyday mahi, guidance on navigating tricky topics, and info on how to support and refer where needed. This is not a clinical or curriculum-based training it’s real talk for real-world youth work.

Ideal for youth workers, teachers, coaches, nurses, social workers and anyone who connects with young people in group or one-on-one settings.

Date: Wednesday, 25 June…
