Talk Shop

If you work as a contractor, run a small business, have a side hustle, or are thinking about starting a new venture, Talk Shop is a place where you can ask questions and connect with like-minded self-starters. As our community grows, the group will cover topics like building a website and accessing funding, marketing, and accounting. Meetups will happen bi-monthly, featuring hot coffee and hotter business tips. 

At September's meet-up, the group will look at creating a simple 1-page business plan, defining our business mission, goals and objectives and practice pitching it to the group -- a combo of business strategy and selling yourself.
