About the event
This intermediate-level weaving course is designed for those who have already begun their journey with traditional Māori weaving. Led by experienced weaver Stephney Grayndler, the course builds on foundational techniques and delves into more complex tāniko patterns, forms, and the narratives woven into them.
Participants will deepen their understanding of design, colour use, and the cultural significance embedded in Māori textile arts, all within a guided, collaborative environment.
Dates: 1, 2, 3 & 8, 9, 10 August 2025 (two weekends)
Times: Fridays from 5:30pm · Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00am
