About the event

You’ll be guided through tikanga raranga, respectful harvesting of harakeke, and the foundational skills needed to prepare and work

with natural materials, building confidence as you create your own woven art pieces.

These workshops run from August to December, with 2 weekend sessions per month, allowing time to grow your skills and knowledge at a comfortable pace. Spaces are limited, so claim your spot now and learn from well-known local weaver Vicki Hiha, whose expertise and passion make this an inspiring and supportive learning experience.

Enrol now at EIT Main Reception at 290 Palmerston Road. Please bring a birth certificate, passport or driver's licence to enrol.

Dates: 1. 7-8 and 14-15 August

2. 11-12 and 18-19 September
