of Tāniko - a unique finger-weaving method used to create intricate patterns rich in whakapapa, symbolism, and cultural meaning.

Under the guidance of Steph, you’ll learn the essential skills of the Tāniko process and explore how this enduring artform is traditionally applied in taonga such as korowai (cloaks), tīpare (headbands), pari (bodices), belts, and necklaces.

taking your very first step into Tāniko or you’re an experienced weaver looking to add new techniques to your kete, each wānanga provides an
