About the event
This hui is an opportunity for the community to hear about progress on the refined design, updated costs, and the upcoming resource consent process.
There will also be time for questions and discussion.
Protecting Te Karaka from future flooding is an important step in strengthening the community’s resilience. The project is significant for local whānau, landowners and businesses, and organisers are committed to keeping the community informed as it progresses.
Attendees will also receive an update on local recovery road works, including Coates Corner and Grays Bridge, and TREC will share the latest on Hakanui Straight.
The community is encouraged to attend, hear the update firsthand, and share their whakaaro.
